Art is poetry without words…

As a talented artist, he has demonstrated his tools, techniques and tips  for clubs and societies for more than twenty years.

Paul paints in Watercolour and Acrylics, and also demonstrates digital art, using a computer, displayed on a projector and screen whilst explaining how this modern alternative to conventional media works.

He also offers workshops in watercolour for new and intermediate abilities.

Paul will happily travel up to 150 miles from his home in Cardiff, to attend demonstrations and workshops.

Paul lives in Cardiff, South Wales. He is married to Lyn, and has two grown up children.

His career of forty years was spent working for British Telecom as an engineer, and later, as a Datacomms Specialist.

Now retired, he has even more time to spend on his hobbies - Art, Photography and Playing Guitar - all of which he undertakes with a passion and enthusiasm that is catching!

He is also well known for his humour and storytelling - and in latter years, for being an honorary member of the Grumpy Old Men brigade.

Paul is an active member of South Wales Arts Society which is based in Cardiff.

Paul also ‘works’ on Cruise Ships as an art tutor, which obviously has it’s perks!

You can view some examples of Paul’s work in the Gallery pages of this website.
